Klaanilla on vahva side koiriin. Klaanin jäsenelle annetaan nuorena koira, jonka kanssa hän kasvaa ja kouluttaa tätä, tehden heistä erottamattoman kaksikon taistelussa. * Sana "inuzuka" voidaan suomentaa "koirien talo". Nimi on peräisin samannimiseltä japanilaiselta Edo-kauden klaanilta, joka oli yksi Chiba-prefektuurin vahvimmista klaaneista. Klaanin jäsenet tunnettiin "koirasotureina", ja he palvoivat kiinalaisen eläinradan koiraa, Inua. Itse klaanin nimi on alun alkaen peräisin Hakkenden-nimisestä romaanista, joka kertoi koirasamuraista.
